SKEVAD,SKEVAD,Comments from user about SKEVAD: As microprocessor designs get faster, the cost of manufacturing a chip (with smaller components built on a semiconductor chip the same size) generally stays the same. In 1986, HP released its first system with a PA-RISC CPU. This can be seen in figure 2. Continued increases in microprocessor capacity have rendered other forms of computers almost completely obsolete (see history of computing hardware), with one or more microprocessors used in everything from the smallest embedded systems and handheld devices to the largest mainframes and supercomputers. An example is the comparator which takes in a continuous range of voltage but only outputs one of two levels as in a digital circuit. Passivity is a property of engineering systems, used in a variety of engineering disciplines, but most commonly found in analog electronics and control systems.
