IWS4848,IWS4848,Comments from user about IWS4848: Bipolar junction transistors are formed from two p-n junctions, in either n-p-n or p-n-p configuration. The size, latency, throughput and connectivity of memories within the system are also microarchitectural decisions. One disadvantage of the thyristor for switching circuits is that once it is 'latched-on' in the conducting state it cannot be turned off by external control.
